WASHINGTON, D.C. –  Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that forward Chris McCullough has been assigned to the Northern Arizona Suns of the NBA Development League pursuant to the flexible assignment rule.

This will be McCullough’s first stint in the NBADL as a member of the Wizards. He also appeared in 31 games with the Long Island Nets while a member of the Brooklyn Nets and averaged 18.1 points and 7.7 rebounds, earning 2017 D-League All-Star honors.

McCullough was acquired in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets, along with guard/forward Bojan Bogdanovic, on February 22. He appeared in 14 games with the Nets, averaging 2.5 points and 1.2 rebounds.

The second-year pro has appeared in one game with Washington, playing two minutes at Toronto on March 1.
