Wizards Today 11-29

November 29, 2017
Today’s Storyline: The Wizards defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first game of a back-to-back that concludes tonight in Philadelphia.

• The Wizards bench outscored the starters 49-43. It was the first time this season the starters were outscored by the bench. Washington had only two games last season when the bench outscored the starters, 3/24 vs. BKN and 4/12 at MIA.

• The Wizards had three bench players with at least 10 points in the game (Oubre-16, Meeks-12, Scott-12) for the first time since 3/24/17 vs. BKN (Jennings-18, Bogdanovic-17, Mahinmi-16).

• Otto Porter led the Wizards with 22 points in the game, outscoring the other four Wizards' starters 22-21. This marks the first time a Washington starter outscored the other four starters since John Wall tallied 52 to the others’ 42 on 12/6/16 against the Orlando Magic.

• The 92 points by the Wizards were the team's fewest in a win since scoring 92 in a win over the Denver Nuggets on 12/8/16.
