Wizards Today 12-5

December 5, 2017
Today’s Storyline: The Wizards suffered their second largest loss in team history as they were defeated by the Utah Jazz 116-69.

Marcin Gortat finished with a career high-tying four steals for the second-consecutive game. Prior to this season, the 11th year pro had only one game with at least four steals.

Gortat is looking to become the first Wizard since Gilbert Arenas from 1/7-1/11/2006 to record four-or-more steals in three consecutive games.

Bradley Beal went 0-4 from three in the game, the second consecutive game he has failed to connect on a shot from behind the arc. Beal has never gone more than two consecutive games without making a three (he has had seven streaks of two games with no makes, the last coming in March of 2015).
